VoteGenerator was built because every poll tool wanted an account before you could ask four people where to eat lunch. No signup, no registration, no ads, for you or the people voting. Share a link, results come in.
Right now: 7 poll types (multiple choice, ranked choice, meeting scheduler, rating, RSVP, this-or-that, visual), multi-question surveys, and a Slack app.
Hi Product Hunt,
I'm Eryk and excited to launch my product.
This started because I wanted to survey a team and every option wanted an email, a signup or an account. Honestly, too much friction.
I've spent the past year bootstrapping VoteGenerator around that. No signup, no email collection, no registration, no ads on any plan including free. Every company asks for your email and I get enough already, so I wanted the tool I built to be different. You create a poll or survey, share a link, and nobody has to sign up. Not you, not the people answering. Anonymous mode as well.
Everyone tells me I need email marketing for this work, and they might be right. But the vision is to build a frictionless tool that people can use right away.
I simulated 600,000 group votes to check how often and with five options on the ballot the winner has no real majority about 84% of the time. Ranked choice fixes that and it's free here.
What it does:
🔓 No signup, no email, no account. Not for you, not for the people answering
📅 8 poll types incl. meeting scheduling, RSVP and surveys
💬 Slack app with slash commands and recurring polls
📋 120+ templates, more added regularly
🚫 No ads on any plan including free
🗳️ Free plan is 3 polls, 100 responses each. Genuinely free, not a trial.
Free plan is 3 polls with 100 responses each. Not a trial, just free.
For Product Hunt: 20% off the first year of any paid plan with code HUNT20, good until Nov 30, 2026.
What it isn't:
Not a live presentation tool. No word clouds or projector mode, so Poll Everywhere and Mentimeter are better for that. Not for you if you need, survey skip logic, cross tabs or legally binding elections, so it won't replace a research platform.
Would love your feedback. Appreciate your time.
Thanks,
Eryk
