Hey Folks - I want to intro you to Tethral's newest product: Vibepay. Ultra-minimal payment links. No marketplace, no complex setup, just sell digital goods anywhere through a simple Link, a button, or embed in your IDE / vibecode platform. You should get paid for the work you do, and recoup the cost of those vibe creation platforms.

I built https://vibepay.io because I was tired of trading my work for the ‘privilege’ of posting it on the vibecode manufacturer's website just so someone else could remix it for free.
To be clear I don’t mind sharing it, but what frustrated me was that the platform was getting the benefit of what I’d build, getting more people to use their tool. But I was spending money (on a subscription) to make something that only helped their sales for nothing in return. I’m not saying everything I make is $$$$ everything is worth nothing was frustrating. The only other option was to join a separate marketplace - , the paperwork, the fees, and if I wanted to sell my thing I’d have to send them to someone else’s site, OR set up a full checkout experience on my own site.
Enter Vibepay.io
From my own problem , I identified 3 use cases.
Problem 1: selling via a link - if I wanted to sell on twitter or sell a document or photo - the link would have to refer people somewhere else to get to my content. Adding more steps = more top of the funnel falloff and fewer sales.
Vibepay can remix your gdrive link, insert a payment blocker and when someone clicks the link to download they pay before the get to the doc / image / whatever.
Problem 2: site checkout. I don’t want to make a whole ‘checkout’ experience or the checkout is inflexible for what I want. Enter the buy button. Take the link to your thing, drop it into the Vibepay.io flow, and it outputs the html code snipped of a buy button. You can add it to text in a doc, you can add it to a site, whatever. User clicks buy before accessing the content.
Problem 3: vibecode web app. The problem I started with. This is a slightly different approach. Set a price, generate a code snippet, plunk it into your web app manually or put it into your vibecode interface or ide. The one you sell it to downloads your thing first - and use of it is locked until they pay your fee.
I wanted to make it so creators of any kind (not just vibecode ), like images, music, videos, guidebooks, or anything, could get paid for their work and recoup the costs of these vibe platforms so they could keep creating.
All without joining some else’s platform (other than stripe, technically you do need to make an associate stripe account to process and deposit your payments.)
What this is not: a marketplace. I snow they are all the rage right now, but sometimes you don’t want it, sometimes there too much noise, sometimes you don’t want the competition.
What are your methods for getting your vibe creations out there? How do you get paid? & what can I do to help?
Happy building!
