I thought... what if I made the joke version of that? And remove the limits and make it fun while I am at it. So I built a storefront where everything is unreal or satire. The products are ridiculous, the scarcity is fake, the reviews are fun, and you can actually buy anything without paying anything. There are no payment screens, no checkout, and no way to spend money. Just the same dopamine rush without the credit card bill. But while building it, something unexpected happened. The most addictive part wasn't the fake shopping. It was trying to guess the products and what products actually cost. That became VibeCheck, a daily 5-round game where you guess the prices of real products using real photos and real prices. It turned into something my friends and I started playing during coffee breaks and get-togethers to see who had the worst sense of pricing. Give today's challenge a shot. It takes about 2 minutes. Hard mode gives 1.6× rewards because it should. 🎁 Coins can be redeemed for real brand-funded swag. The game is fictional, the rewards aren't. 😄 Every fake countdown and urgency banner is clearly labeled as fake because making fun of dark patterns is much more fun than using them. 🇮🇳 It's region-aware too.
