👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Sagar, the maker of Viahourly. I built Viahourly because I got tired of one thing that seems to come with every freelance project: spending more time discussing the work than actually doing it. As a freelancer/agency owner, the usual process looked something like this: “Can you build a website?” → Scope the project → Write a proposal → Estimate hours → Negotiate the price → Start working → Scope changes → More discussions → Somehow the “2-week project” is still going a month later 😅 And on the other side, clients often had a different problem: “Do I really need to pay a fixed project fee when I only need a few hours of help?” So we asked: what if professional work worked like booking time? With Viahourly, clients can book professionals by the hour for the exact help they need. Need a designer for 3 hours? Need a developer for 10? Need a marketing expert to jump in and solve a specific problem? Book the time. Get the work done. Pay for the time you actually need. But while building Viahourly, we discovered something important. The real problem wasn't just scheduling. It was trust. Clients wanted confidence that their hours would actually produce something valuable. Professionals wanted protection from endless revisions and “just one more small thing” requests.
