Verdant helps home growers understand whether their grow is moving in the right direction. Keep photos, plant history, and journal entries on your iPhone, with optional live sensor readings from Home Assistant. See environmental evidence, drift, and recovery in context. Free to use, with no account, credit card, or trial clock. Verdant Pro adds deeper evidence and local forecasts with Edge hardware.

Hi Product Hunt — I’m Michael, the developer behind Verdant.
Controllers tell you what the equipment is doing. I wanted a clearer answer to a different question: is the grow actually moving in the right direction?
Verdant brings environmental evidence together with plant history, photos, and the things you do in your grow. You can start with a journal on your iPhone and optionally connect Home Assistant to include live sensor readings. Your grow records stay on your device.
Verdant Free is available now on the App Store: no account, no credit card, and no trial clock. The website’s 85-second demo shows photos, the Home Assistant connection, and sensor readings saved in a journal entry.
Coming next: Verdant Pro, with availability planned for Q1 2027. Drift Detector watches conditions at canopy height; Verdant Edge keeps the detailed history and runs forecasts locally on your network. Together, they are designed to help you spot environmental drift early and understand whether a change actually helped.
Further on the roadmap: Scout Detector for camera-based monitoring of sticky pest traps, and Verdant Dock for pot-weight measurements, irrigation events, and dry-down patterns. Both are in development; release dates are still to be announced.
I’d love your feedback: what is hardest to understand from your current grow records or sensor dashboard, and which part of this roadmap would help most?
