Hey Hunters, Dan here, solo founder of Vemero.
I spent ten years in marketing and the same thing kept happening. I'd sit down to plan a campaign, open a blank doc, and default to whatever I ran last quarter. Not because I didn't know other tactics existed, but because there was no fast way to scan the full space and pick something I hadn't tried.
Designers have Dribbble. Developers have GitHub. Marketers have... a thousand bookmarked tweets and a Notion doc that died in 2023.
So I built Vemero. It's a structured library of 175 marketing tactics, sourced from practitioners like Alex Hormozi, Noah Kagan, the Traction book, Tom Orbach, Harry Dry and others. Each tactic is rated on effort, budget, speed, measurability and scale, and comes with steps, measurement methods, common pitfalls and the source it came from.
The hierarchy is strict: MacroCategory > Group > Channel > Tactic. So you can scan all your paid options, drill into Out of Home, find Billboards, and see five concrete plays you can actually run.
What this is NOT: a content site. There's no SEO listicle here. Every tactic has been read, structured and rated by hand. That's also why the alpha is 175 and not 17,000.
What's coming in beta: 1,000+ tactics, a structured experiment builder (hypothesis, success metrics, kanban tracking), and benchmarks per channel.
Honest disclaimers because PH deserves them:
1. This is alpha. Expect rough edges.
2. It's free right now. Pricing TBD for beta.
3. The experiment builder is not in the alpha yet.
I'd love feedback on three things: 1) is the channel/tactic split useful or confusing, 2) which features do you wish for?
I'm here all day. Ask me anything.
