Hi everyone 👋 I built VeilDB after repeatedly facing the same problem: sharing production-like databases with developers without leaking sensitive customer data. Manually cleaning dumps was slow, error-prone, and stressful. So I created VeilDB - an open-source platform with three components: • Service - configure masking rules via web UI • Agent - processes backups on the server • Client - securely downloads anonymized dumps My goal is simple: make database sharing safe by default.
