@jacob_hernandez4Ā Yes I'm definitely planning to add different kinds of dietary filters. The only thing I'm thinking about is if I should make a seperate app for that or include it in this one.
Just out of curiosity, whatās the strangest non vegan ingredient the AI has caught so far? Itās always a mix of fun and shock to discover whatās lurking in processed foods.

Hey Timon, is there a possibility to add vegan products to the database? Or does it simply read and identify the ingredients and make a verdict itself?

Hey Nika!
Not right now, but thatās one of the first features Iām planning to add.
The app uses the Open Food Facts database (an open community maintained database). I want to maken that when a product isnāt recognized by the scanner, you can submit the vegan status yourself, which then gets forwarded to their database.
That way, it helps the whole food community, not just my app.š
