VARCO is a graduated compression sock built specifically for HYROX — not a generic running sock adapted for the format, but a piece designed for the exact moment that makes HYROX brutal: restarting after every station, legs full of lactic acid. Capsule 01: 120 individually numbered pairs, made in a small Italian mill. No restock on this capsule — once it's gone, it's gone. Curious how you settled on the specific compression gradient for those transitions between stations — was that tested against actual HYROX timings or more of a feel thing from athletes you worked with?

Honestly, at this stage it's design intent based on research into graduated compression in the medical-sports category, not lab-tested against real HYROX race telemetry — we haven't produced units yet, this is a pre-production waitlist. Once the first numbered pairs exist, validating that against real athletes mid-race is exactly the kind of feedback I want. If it doesn't hold up, I'd rather know and fix it than ship something that just sounds good on paper.
How does the graduated compression actually hold up after multiple rounds through sled work and wall balls, and does it stay consistent or lose pressure by the end of a race?
@savayldzcwyzm Fair question, and the honest answer is: I don't know yet. Nothing has been manufactured — this is a waitlist to validate demand before producing anything. What I can say is the yarn category was chosen specifically for durability under repeated load, but real proof only comes from real races. That's part of why the batch is capped and numbered — I want early feedback from actual wearers before scaling anything.
The embroidered serial number on each pair is such a nice touch, makes 120 numbered socks feel like a proper small batch rather than just hype. Smart move designing specifically for the post station restart instead of borrowing from running gear.
