uselink turns any HTML or Markdown into a clean link you control. paste a doc, get a url under your handle, decide who can read and who can comment. readers reply in threads with no account, which Google Docs and Notion can't do. interactive HTML actually runs. add a password, an expiry, or a view limit, and keep every version. new this launch: a visual editor to edit live pages with no code, and an MCP server so Claude, Cursor, or n8n can publish for you.

UseLink is exactly the tool I've been looking for to share content cleanly and interactively. Just paste Markdown or HTML, and you instantly get a beautiful, clean link under your own handle. It looks super professional.
What I love most:

Fully interactive HTML: Charts, embeds, code demos, and dynamic elements all work smoothly (unlike Notion or Google Docs).
Comment system without requiring an account: Readers can leave threaded comments easily. Perfect for quick feedback.
Live editing + version history: Update the content and the link updates in realtime. No need to send new links.
Flexible privacy controls: Great for both public sharing and controlled access.

I’ve been using it to share blog posts, project proposals, landing page tests, and internal docs. Much faster than deploying something on Vercel or Netlify just for temporary sharing.

What needs improvement

The product is already excellent, but here are a few nice-to-haves:

Custom domain support
Password protection for links
Template gallery (resume, changelog, product spec, etc.)
Basic analytics (views, comments, engagement)

vs Alternatives

I used to rely on:

Notion public pages → Too heavy and cluttered when embedded.
Google Docs → Decent commenting but poor HTML rendering and ugly links.
Medium / Hashnode → Limited customization and no full HTML freedom.
Vercel / Netlify → Requires deployment and no built-in commenting.

UseLink wins with the perfect mix of simplicity and power. Paste → Get link → Done.

The "made something great in Claude and now it's stuck in a chat window" problem is painfully real, as my downloads folder is a graveyard of report_final_v2.html files nobody ever opened. Uselink actually solves this.

What needs improvement

2 things I'd love to see on the roadmap: first, an MCP or API so a Claude agent can publish straight to Uselink without leaving the chat

Second, comment anchoring across versions. If a reader comments on a paragraph and I push a new version, it'd be great if that comment stays anchored rather than drifting. And if multi-editor collaboration is anywhere on the roadmap, even a lightweight "teammate reviews before publish" flow would remove a real bottleneck.

I was duct-taping GitHub Pages and a random comments widget for roughly the same job and it barely worked. Hosting a static HTML file on a gist or Netlify is doable, but you lose the commenting layer, the access controls, and any visibility into who's actually viewing. Uselink wraps all of that in one link with zero setup, which is where the value gap becomes obvious.
