Unrot diagnoses your X For You feed for free (slop, rage bait, echo chambers), then gives you a $9, 14-day plan of manual mutes, follows and posts to read, plus a Chrome and Firefox extension that measures your junk share daily. It never touches your account.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm the maker of Unrot.
I was tired to see things in X that I don't care at all, and a lot of them changed my mood. So I start to investigate how to improve it. Reeducate your algorithm is not a thing of one afternoon, it takes some weeks doing small actions every day, and almost nobody keeps doing it alone. With only one source of information like X, you can have a totally opposite vision of the world than your neighbour.
So I built Unrot, a 14-day reset that accompany you in the process:
1. Free diagnosis (around 60 seconds, no login). You write what you are sick of and what you want to see, and you can add screenshots. You get a junk score, what your feed is made of (SLOP / BAIT / TRAP / ECHO / KEEP) and three things to do now.
2. A plan of 14 days, $9 one time. Five minutes per day of real actions: what to mute (only accounts that are really in your screenshots), who to follow (accounts that AI search finds for your interests, each one checked live in X that it exist, is public and posted in the last 90 days, plus a curated list of more than 425 accounts in 29 topics), searches for real posts that are worth reading, and one email every day.
3. An extension for Chrome and Firefox that measure how much of your For You feed is junk, day by day, and show the actions of your plan directly on the posts. It only works with the plan.
What it never does: ask your X password, use the X API, mute or follow or like for you, or save your screenshots. Every click is yours, because the feed only learn from you.
The extension is live in the Chrome Web Store since October 22 and now also in Firefox, so any feedback about it is very welcome. Ask me anything!
