Hey Product Hunt 👋 Pavneet here, maker of Unfurl.
This one started with a personal embarrassment. I've watched hundreds of hours of genuinely brilliant YouTube tutorials, taken pages of notes, and a week later, couldn't actually do most of what they taught. There's a name for it: the fluency illusion. Watching a clear explanation feels like learning, but feeling like you get it and being able to do it are two different skills.
I got tired of my "watch later" pile being a graveyard of good intentions, so I built Unfurl.
You paste a YouTube link (up to 5 at once), and it turns the video into:
- a chaptered guide you can work through
- a chat tutor that answers from the video's own transcript
- a step-by-step action plan
- a one-page infographic you can share
The whole thing is grounded in the transcript, not generic AI. Every point cites the exact second it came from. If it wasn't said in the video, it doesn't make it into your guide.
That grounding was the hardest part to build, and the part I'd defend hardest. The easy path is to let a model summarise freely, which is fast and quietly full of plausible nonsense. Making every claim trace back to a real moment in the video took far longer, and it's the whole point of a learning tool you can actually trust.
It's free to start, no credit card, one full guide on the house.
I'm here all day, and I read every piece of feedback, the harsher the better. What's the one video sitting in your "watch later" that you'd want turned into something you could actually do? Drop it below, and I'll run it.
