About the tool 🙂

UI Generator is a handy tool for any UI designer. It helps to get mockup UI quickly.

Mockup UI (a.k.a. fake UI) is a UI template that looks stylish, meaningful but not too specific. It means you can add a finance template from UI Generator to any fin-tech project and it will look and feel fine.

Select a category (finance, dashboard, messenger, portfolio, etc), play with colors, add a device frame if necessary and download an asset as .PNG.

If you need to populate your website, prototype, or a presentation with some graphics which is not a group of smiling teammates from Unsplash, use it.

How I came up with the idea 💡

I noticed many of the clients of our landing page builder keep the default placeholder images on their pages.

They just need to have some random graphics on their website and go on. They do not have time to create polished screenshots. More likely, they just do not need it at the early stage.

So we made this collection of mockup UI. You can download a UI of your product’s category and move on.

UI Generator is an answer to the question: “I need to put something on my website right now”.

The maker 👨‍💻

The folk who designed each template and coded the whole tool is Elis. He is learning ReactJS and this is his first app. Elis is making huge progress on his journey and I hope he will soon join the Unicorn Platform developers team. I’m sure Unicorn Platform and its users will benefit a lot from this young talent 🙂

@alexanderisora first thought: an .svg export would make it trivial to quickly fine-tune in Figma.

@funtusov Hey Greg! We wanted to add svg export, but couldn't make it due to some technical difficulties. We plan to release a Figma file with all the templates soon. I will let you know when it's done 🙂

I was actually looking for something like this 3 days ago to build an html template. In the end, I had to spend an hour taking a screen shot of some random dashboard and paste it on a laptop outline lol. Gonna replace my work with this now. Thanks for officially wasting my time. So beautifully thought out 😍 I was wondering if a simple way to get it easily brand compliant might be to have a hex colour picker, rather than the preset list of 8 colours? That way, people could input their exact company colours and have it looking 🔥

@jenny_sahng great though, Jenny. Adding any color would take much more time to implement. But most important, we believed it just unnecessary, because these templates (as we think) should be used as mockups, not real demos. So real colors does not matter too.
