Not to be a debbie downer but how often do you leave your sunglasses behind to warrant the additional technology?

I appreciate where you're coming from @rrhoover, but what's interesting IMO is the production of everyday products that can talk to our digital world. An iBeacon tag that was announced a few months back that you can slap on your keys or bag is probably more useful, that's true, but what I like to think of is a world where you buy a car, or an expensive jacket or your kid's pushchair, and that it already comes with the technology.

@andrewpyott - completely agree. I'm skeptical of the demand for this specific use case (one brand of glasses) but do see the potential for this tech to be applied to many other things (e.g. Tile).
