It's okay. I wish there was a more standardized way of organizing and naming fonts. Also, I would really like to get rid of the non-Latin typefaces. I am never going to use them, why do they have to stay in my font list in the system?
Hi Christopher — system fonts are protected by macOS and unfortunately cannot be deactivated. If you'd like that functionality I'd recommend sending feedback to Apple, hopefully they can enable that in a future version of macOS :)

Hi Hunters!
Proud to announce this big update to Typeface. Lots of things have improved, but the main feature is the all-new tagging system. It allows you to organize your fonts however you want and is very flexible. Nest, combine, filter and invert tags — it feels like a whole new app, give it a try!
The new font management features are easy to use and get out of your way, so you can still focus on what matters most: your fonts. Exploration of your font library is very important when picking the perfect font. Typeface 2 has a redesigned minimal UI which doesn't distract.
More new features:
- Powerful tagging functionality
- Smart collapsible sidebar
- Redesigned toolbar
- Extra font info
- Improved font comparisons
- Synced directories
- Auto font activation (beta)
- Improved Quick Collection actions
- Redesigned app icon
- New preview input
