Cool idea!! I generally prefer keeping things in Trello, but i have thought about how doing it in command line could be more fun. Love this idea for simple day to day stuff! Good luck on the launch!

@britt_joiner Thank you Brittany! And yes it is meant for simple personal stuff that we want to keep track of 😁

Hey Product Hunters, I'm KaKeng, the creator of tsk! šŸ‘‹ I believe majority of developers have experienced glitches and delays in complex project management web apps. Sometimes we don't need a full fledged web apps to manage our simple personal tasks, instead we just want it to be quick and easy. Now you can create and organize your tasks efficiently straight from your terminal. āœ… Simple and concise commands āœ… Works without internet connection āœ… You own your data as it is stored locally tsk is an open source project so if you have any issue or feature requests please don't hesitate to contribute! šŸ™‡

love this ?makers! works really well! Would be awesome to see a fig-style popup menu to be able to quickly select status, priority, and due date for a more visual aesthetic. Might add (when I have time) that and open a pr if that's not already on the roadmap. šŸ™Œ
KaKeng Loh
@itsbrex Thanks Brian! Glad you like it. Do you have an example of how the fig-style popup menu looks like? šŸ˜„
Brian Roach
@kakeng here you go: https://share.cleanshot.com/xe2c... So intead of auto-completing folder names, it would just be the available commands based on what hasn't already been input.
KaKeng Loh
@itsbrex That's cool, can you please create an issue on the Github repo to further discuss?

Looking GREAT! desktop notification feels like a must (Mac).
KaKeng Loh
@emil45 Thanks Emanuel! Yupp it is on the roadmap, currently doing a research on good implementation for this feature.
