Hey PH 👋 I'm a solo maker from China, and I built trytools.app because I was tired of "free tool" sites that upload your data to their servers. **Why I built this** Every time I needed a quick JSON format or timestamp conversion, I'd land on some ad-infested site asking me to sign up. So I decided to build the tool set I wish existed — clean, fast, and private by default. **What makes it different** - All processing happens locally in your browser - Zero server uploads — your data never leaves your machine - No signups, no accounts, no email collection - No analytics, no tracking scripts - Dark mode by default **Built with AI** The entire site (9 tools + homepage) was built with Claude Code as my pair programmer. I'm a product person, not a full-stack dev — AI made it possible to ship this solo in about a week. **What's next** I'm adding 7 more tools in the next batch (image tools, PDF tools, calculators), and I'd love to know what tools YOU actually need.
