Hi everyone!
I started TRY Studio because I wanted to empower people to do more of what they loved. And, to try new things from someone nearby. TRY Studio is a platform to help connect to people in our community via passion projects, interests, and skills.
The idea of project-based learning in a personalized environment allows for each person to connect with a new skill in a deeper way, faster.
The problems I saw when trying something new was one of two things:
1. Videos are great but require the student to have all the equipment and supplies (and discipline)
2. Workshops filled with people don’t have the ability to listen to what the student is really interested in learning and/or their current skill level
The vision is to create a way for each of us to engage more with what we love doing and to make lifelong learning in all things creative more accessible.
