Would love to see a browser extension so TruthLens can flag the wire echo in real time while I'm scrolling Twitter or reading an article, instead of having to paste every link manually into the site.
@yosef_fang Really appreciate this — a browser extension is honestly the natural next step for TruthLens, since the whole point is catching wire echoes before you've already read five versions of the same story. Realistically it'd be one click from wherever you are (extension icon reads the current page/tweet automatically, no copy-paste-switch-tabs) rather than fully passive scanning every post — running analysis on everything in a feed automatically isn't really feasible cost-wise. But cutting it down to one click in place is still a big step up from today. No promises on timing yet, but it's on our radar.
In the meantime: if you're reading a news article in Safari, you can already hit Share → TruthLens and it'll analyze the link directly. Twitter/X is the one exception — X blocks crawling, so for tweets you'll need to copy the text instead and drop it in (web detects it on your clipboard with a one-tap "Verify clipboard" button; iOS flags it too, just one extra tap to send).
