Growing up, I experienced firsthand how hard and dangerous it can be to give honest feedback inside an institution. A lecturer singled me out, harassed me, manipulated my grades, and even influenced others to do the same. When I petitioned for my exam scripts, the act of speaking up made things worse. I eventually had to leave the university entirely only then did I thrive. Throughout that ordeal, one question stayed with me: “What if students or employees could safely share issues anonymously with leadership, without fear of retaliation?” That idea inspired me to pursue a master’s in Intelligent & Adaptive Systems at Sussex and ultimately build TruTab - a simple, affordable platform for anonymous forums and internal feedback. It helps leaders hear the truth, protects victims and whistle-blowers, and keeps conversations visible to the communities they affect. Today, we’re excited to share it with organizations and communities who need safer communication. Happy to answer any questions!
