I think I'd like a few more data points on a person than just their FB profile if I'm going to be spending a long car ride with someone(s).

Tripda is a ridesharing marketplace matching drivers and passengers, allowing them to share travel expenses, share a journey, meet other people and reduce the number of cars on the road. Tripda is convenient, fun, economical and supports the environment.
Tripda was founded earlier this year and we are already live in 12 countries across Latin America, Asia and of course, the U.S.
What we are doing is being done by hundreds of thousands of people already using antiquated, time consuming and inconvenient methods such as email lists, informal Facebook groups, Craigslist posts and word-of-mouth. We aim to make this a more robust, convenient and simply better way to share long-distance rides with others.
