I signed up for $1 free trial and ended up forgetting that my account existed. Unfortunately, I didn't get any notifications and was charged $300. I noticed the charge on my bank card two weeks later and asked for a refund. Stating that I had never even logged into the platform and would like a refund. I understand that they they have a refund policy, but at the very east be flexible in a situation like this where I didn't even use the product. And for that, I wouldn't recommend the platform.

@matthew_rouzaud I seem to find it rare , I mean well setup recurring subscription notifications and the system itself, informing about upcoming payments on trial screens and so on. Kind of typical "lets see how much we can make form peoples short term memory" :)

Useful trends. Why not take a regional lens too? See this take on scaling your startup to one of the fastest growing regions in the world - Southeast Asia. Some key takeaways:
- SEA is starting to strongly resemble China/East Asia in the hypergrowth and acceleration of its digital economy
- Scaling across the region requires strong partners, local talent, hyperlocalised understanding
- Unicorns like Sea Group show how the first mover advantage works well to rapidly capture the market

Agree with the group that a preview would be nice, but will give this a shot. My concern is that the content might be too broad to be useful, but we'll see.

@andreasduess Here's a sample: https://mailchi.mp/c1c62b7aeca9/...
unfortunately the link to the Hims case study (which was AMAZING - imho their best content yet) isn't working if not logged in yet, but chatting with them about if possible to put it live to share for free
agreed about the content being broad - what's great is that you can get access to their Facebook group and then request which topics you'd like them to research next. So if there's an area that you're particularly interested in, you could lobby them to research that

Be careful with that 14 day period. They charge you $299 and offer absolutely no refunds once that payment has been taken. Hardly fair to small businesses trying to get by on very lean margins. Just another bunch of contrepreneurs.

If you are not a startup founder or VC investor looking to invest/start a business in "whatever has a steep upward line" then this product is not for you. The news-letters and website are a rag of "nice to knows" that you could find yourself on google trends. If you are a generalist trend hunter, then batter-up, you'll love this. but if you are at all specialized, say, in the food and beverage industry or in any industry, then you'll get a lot of facts that your brain doesn't need for a price tag that is not nearly worth it.
If you are joining for the FB group, sure, go ahead, pay for friends.
