Most WW1 games focus on glory. WW1 Trenches focuses on cost. You command real battalions on the Western Front. You read the terrain, decide who advances, and live with the consequences — the same decisions real generals made in 1914–1918. Built for people who stand at war memorials and wonder what it was actually like to make those calls. This is the closest you'll get. Free to download on iOS. https://vercel.com/stephens-projects-ea204d52/ww1-trenches-game/A8B4RmvzPhxv7HfVvrym3BLXBp8J

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built WW1 Trenches because I kept noticing that most WW1 games treat
the war like an adventure. Glory, action, heroics.
The reality was the opposite. It was mud, attrition, and decisions made
under impossible pressure — with real men's lives on the line.
WW1 Trenches puts you in command on the Western Front. You read the
terrain, move your battalions, and decide who advances. The same calls
real generals made between 1914 and 1918.
It's a strategy game — but it's also a small act of remembrance.
Free on iOS. Would love to hear what you think, especially from history
buffs and strategy game players.
