Treeing began with a simple, frustrating conversation between my friend Laurie and me. We asked why Airbnb is so expensive for guests and why hosts have to jump through so many hoops just to get paid.
We set out to fix that.
Treeing provides a fresh alternative to Airbnb. We offer low-to-no commissions, easy hosting for anyone, and a better experience for both guests and hosts.
After 18 months of building, testing, and talking to hundreds of users, we realized the problem goes deeper than just peer-to-peer hosting. The entire hospitality tech industry feels stuck in 2009. Hotels pay high fees for outdated services. Guests pay more and receive less. It’s time for a change.
At Treeing, we believe:
1. Direct booking should be the standard. Cut out the middleman and save money.
2. Loyalty points should be flexible. Earn them at one place and spend them at another.
3. Families shouldn’t pay fees to host each other.
So we built Treeing as a complete ecosystem:
* Guest Lists: Hosts can create private, invite-only offers or public listings. Tailor your outreach to high-value segments.
* Trusted Points®: Guests earn points with every stay and can use them anywhere in the Treeing network.
* Low-to-no commissions: Offline and Zelle bookings are free. Online bookings only pay standard processing fees—no platform markup.
Treeing breaks down the barriers in the travel industry. We are here to make booking direct, fair, and personal again.
