As someone who loves planning trips for friends and family, I’ve personally felt the frustration of how difficult it is to put together a travel plan It took what felt like endless browsing, co-ordination & modifications in the limited time left in a day as a professional. I started working on TravExp during my MBA and excited to take it out of beta. The platform is divided into three verticals - Browsing, Planning and Sharing. Let's take them one-by-one.
Browsing - A traveler today spends days browsing articles, ChatGPT, Instagram, Reddit & many more platforms to make sense of a place, identify avenues of interest and arranging them in a chronological fashion. We eliminate all the mind-numbing browsing work by taking holistic consumer preferences and deep diving into the internet to build the best itinerary. We go beyond textual suggestions to deliver a holistic itinerary with built-in intelligence like ideal amount of time spent at each place, geographical proximity & multi-day organization, in 2 minutes.
Planning - This is where we take the travel experience to the next level. After generating the base itinerary, the next hassle in travel planning is group co-ordination, modification, packing lists, local intelligence & booking. The travel planning tool covers a broad spectrum of features to boost productivity - weather data for your exact dates, travel deals for your exact plan, AI-local guide, packing lists, local tips, collaboration options & more. The planning tool is is the central piece in our core mission to make travel planning easier.
Sharing - Users, once back from their trips, can share their experience on the platform and earn rewards as the community engages with their content. For example, If you visited Boston, you could share the Boston itinerary on the TravExp and if fellow travelers engage with likes, bookmarks & more, you receive points that can be used to redeem rewards. The sharing aspect again feeds into browsing, enabling users to search for traveler shared experiences alongside AI-Generated ones.

This looks amazing. I like how TravExp brings browsing, planning and sharing together in one flow. The AI recommendations seem like they could remove so much of the research grind while still keeping the trip unique to me. Excited to see how it works in practice.
I used ChatGPT to plan my trip to Denver that I took last month, and I had to spend at least 3 hours reiterating the plan based on my preferences. TravExp just took 2 mins to come up with the plan based on my preferences and did it in a way that's left me wondering if I even did my trip right. Now I have to go back to Denver again!!

This is a great product to browse and plan itineraries. AI powered planning makes it very easy to clarify any doubts about the trip easily. It’s also fun to see our trips being used by fellow travelers.

I actually used TravExp for my Ladakh trip, and it made planning so much easier than I expected. I could pick a mix of adventure stuff, scenic spots, and chill downtime, set my budget, and within minutes I had a full itinerary ready to go. Normally I’d spend days jumping between maps, blogs, and spreadsheets, but this felt effortless like the whole trip came together in one place. Honestly made the planning as fun as the trip itself. This will be my go-to trip planner from now.
