Hi Product Hunt. I'm Steve, the solo founder of TravelTracker.me.
Most travel apps track you everywhere. TravelTracker.me tracks nothing. That's the pitch in one sentence.
Why I built it: every travel app I tried either wanted background GPS running 24/7, or quietly turned my trip history into ad-targeting data. I wanted to remember where I'd been (countries, national parks, UNESCO sites, the stops along the way) without the memories of my travel being sold to some advertiser. So I built what I wanted.
TravelTracker.me is a manual travel journal. You log countries, cities, national parks, UNESCO sites, cruises, lodging, photos, and journal entries. No background tracking, no analytics, no pixels, no data sold. The business model is a subscription, not advertising, which is the only way I could credibly promise your trip history stays yours. Free to start, with an optional paid plan for heavier users.
One account works across web, iOS, iPadOS, and Android. Start logging a trip on your phone, finish it on your laptop, share it with family on iPad. The iOS app officially shipped this week, which is why today felt like the right moment for Product Hunt.
I'll be in the comments all day. If there's something missing that'd make this useful to you, please tell me. That feedback is the whole reason I ship on PH.
Thanks for the look!
