Improving transparency early and often is always a great idea! Revenue is often the most difficult metric to track and aggregate across startups so really good place to start. This would be a great addition to Angel.co data and other sites already mentioned. Subscribed!
Awesome, but, where's this info coming from? Setting a new VC vetting standards by getting startups to volunteer accurate info, publicly, or sourcing otherwise for other purposes? Hope this takes hold, if it's the former! @rafapaez_
@elizabethhunker Thanks Elizabeth! I've already answered (twice) your first question - please read the other comments ;). I don't have plans to set a new VC myself :D but you made me think...

No "stealth" numbers here - love this site and it's very valuable if you are doing financial models for or working in a start up. One question, how do you validate the numbers?
@love2golf Hey Margaret! As mentioned in a previous comment, most of the startups publish monthly reports with nice details about their revenues and expenses. Obviously we cannot guarantee they're 100% correct but I don't believe any founder will spend their time in making up those numbers month by month.
On another hand, the rest of the startups that are not publishing reports are however on Baremetrics' Open Startups, which I believe is totally validated.
I guess it might be other mechanisms to validate these numbers. Any suggestions?
@henrikharju I assume you meant MRR? Initially I thought about calling it MRR but, depending of the product and other factors, for some startups their Revenue is recurrent but not for others. So I think is more generic to just call it "Monthly Revenue". Maybe I should add the possibility to specify this as a note.
Edit: Ok, got it. I need to find a way to display it on the List View as well ;)
@reyhaynes Thanks Reinaldo. Me too! There is so much we can learn from them.

Wow, very impressive work. It's just a suggestion, but you have to be very careful with publishing financial data. Uncertain publication can make you a lots of trouble. Best regards and good luck.
@marcinodchyl1 Thanks Marcin. All the data published on the site is obtained from public sources of financial information, either coming from the founders' online Income Reports or from Baremetrics' Open Startups. All the links to the original information are on the startup profiles.
