Adolescent gym training routines use chronological age rather than biological maturity which is a big problem because teens mature differently leading to significant physical differences at same age. So, I created this toolkit which suggests weekly training variables based on your maturity status. It also has an exercise database and two guides for you to understand the training approach and to learn how to build your personalized training program.



honestly the maturity-based approach makes so much sense, finally something that accounts for the fact that not all 15 year olds are built the same. the exercise database has been pretty handy for switching up my routine without overthinking it.

Really cool idea, maturity-based programming makes so much sense for teens. One thing that would take this further is adding a quick injury screening or movement quality check before the workout suggestions, so young athletes can see if they have any mobility or stability gaps to address before jumping into heavier training. Would help a lot of parents and newer coaches feel more confident using it.
