We built TorchStudio after seeing how powerful CLI agents like Claude Code and Gemini CLI are, but also how hard they are to use outside of developers and scripting-heavy workflows. At the same time, chat-based tools still struggle with real document work like Excel, PDFs and structured files. Our goal was to bring the power of CLI agents into a clean, local workspace that non-technical users can actually use: • Work directly on local files, no constant uploading • Built-in editor instead of copy–paste loops • Structured workflows for documents, not just chat • Enterprise-grade permissions and governance baked in We’re now exploring how this workflow fits into real, non-developer day-to-day use.
