Hi Product Hunt! π
Iβm Waleed, a self-taught developer and solo founder of ToolSeekr, a searchable directory for discovering the right tools (not just the newest).
π Why I built ToolSeekr:
Too many tools, poor filtering. It's hard to find the one that fits your exact need.
No Arabic-first platforms. Arabic-speaking founders, indie makers, and devs are underserved(+400m).
β‘ What makes ToolSeekr different:
Smart filters: Search by use case, pricing, software type (web, desktop, CLI, etc.)
Sort by most recent, old, or popular
Community awards: Daily/weekly/monthly top-voted tools
Full English & Arabic support
No queues or fees to submit your tool
Public maker profiles
π Soft launching now:
The full platform is invite-only during early access.
π Sign up at ToolSeekr.com to get early access + help shape the future of the platform.
Thanks for checking it out! Happy to answer any questions. π
Thanks again for all the support! π
A bit more on the thinking behind ToolSeekr:
I built it because most platforms are great for launching, but not great for finding the right tool, especially if you're working in Arabic, or trying to solve a specific business problem.
ToolSeekr is designed to serve both tool users and tool makers.
The idea is simple:
π The better the discovery experience,
π the more users find what they need,
π and the more traffic & visibility tool makers get in return.
So my goal isnβt just to list tools. Itβs to build a useful ecosystem for both sides.
π§ What Iβm focused on improving right now:
Smoother UX for submitting tools
Smarter filters on the tool list
A more helpful discovery experience overall
I'm intentionally keeping things in early access so I can build with real feedback.
If you're a maker, indie hacker, or just someone always hunting for good tools Iβd love your thoughts.
What would make this platform most useful to you?
