Thirded on loving the branding.
Three of the big considerations in my mind are:
1) Stealing, as @andrea_sdl mentions... both from the traveler or the airport staff. And then damage from the flight, as well.
2) It would be annoying to have to box up/pack the items myself. And you would need to... otherwise you're traveling sight unseen with a package which is a dumb idea. And the TSA specifically asks if someone else packed any of your luggage or gave you anything. Note from my friend, Ben: "You will fail the first questions that customs asks, or else be lying to a govt official"
3) Who is responsible if there are issues with taxes/duties due on entrance?
@ffumarola The nice thing about having UPS/FedEx deliver to you first if you receive packages on behalf of a customer is that they take care of handling any illegal items ahead of time. This idea, less so.
The branding makes me smile. :)
As a business, I have some doubt ons its viability because of the infrequency of travel and limited luggage space. That said, it would be delightful to fulfill delivery requests for a stranger.
Love the idea.
There might be some issues to solve on the road (stealing and so on), but the overall touch is fantastic.
I really hope it gets enough attention to start up greatly.

this is a great idea since shipping overseas can be very costly and unreliable
I looked at a few of these businesses when I was running Luna. There's one in NYC whose name I'm blanking on but the idea is similar: someone who's in a taxi coming your way will make a detour to make your delivery for a few bucks.
I can't understand why any consumers would do this within the same city for anything less than $20 or $30. That's likely a deal-breaker for the person paying for their package to be delivered too. Internationally if I did this I'd expect even to make even more money but the inherent problem here is that any attractive price for the person doing the lugging are gated by why UPS or FedEx charge for international rates. The idea makes sense, the economics don't.

Definitely agree the comments above; I think the concept is neat. Unfortunately, there's probably even more issues that haven't been thought of yet.
