I've watched Brice's journey go from a drawing on a napkin to an incredibly well-crafted final product over a period of three years. As someone who's never been into watches, this is one that I'll be proud to wear. While keeping the price highly competitive, he hasn't sacrificed quality in any way. Every single component is top-shelf. The pictures simply don't do it justice. If you're looking for a well-balanced timepiece, look no further than Time Locker's first three models: The Kouriles, the Tonga, and the Kermadec, available from today on Kickstarter.

Having had the opportunity to review one of the preproduction samples (the Kouriles) over at www.manontime.com, I can confidently say that every component is indeed top quality. These are great watches with a solid tool watch feel and are simply stunning in person. It was also pretty neat that it was Brice’s father who sent the sample to me. This is a family business being started and not some marketing company project.

@watchpalooza thank you for your kind message and for the opportunity you gave me to present the Kouriles to the Man on Time community.

Hey @titusdecali , thanks for hunting Time Locker! For those not familiar with our project, here’s a bit of history on my motivation for creating the brand: I grew up watching my father collect military timepieces. We spent many weekends together looking for old watches at flea markets in France and Germany. When I was 21, he gave me my first diving watch, a vintage diving timepiece. Eight years later, after wearing it every day, it was time to replace my daily wrist companion. I've always been inspired by combat divers in history such as the Commando Hubert (French navy seals). Rather than buying a new watch to replace mine, I decided to embark on this entrepreneurial journey to create 3 timepieces, inspired by the bravery of those frogmen: The Kouriles, the Tonga, and the Kermadec. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to look at our designs and Kickstarter campaign. I’m available for any questions about our product, or the 3-year journey I took creating them.
