Hey everyone,
I built ThumbRival after realizing I was judging my thumbnails completely wrong.
I used to think “this looks clean” = good.
But when I actually compared them next to other videos, it was obvious they just didn’t stand out.
That’s what led to this.
I wanted something that doesn’t just preview thumbnails, but actually helps you decide:
What should I change
Which version is better
Is this going to stand out at all
So I focused on making the feedback more actionable, adding real YouTube contexts, and making comparison a core part of the workflow.
