Threads, reimagined through a UI/UX lens. I explored a cleaner, more consistent mobile experience with improved hierarchy, layouts, navigation, profiles, privacy, settings, and everyday usability, all designed in Figma. This is a concept redesign, not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or Threads.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
This project started with a pretty simple question: What would Threads feel like if I approached the experience from a fresh UI/UX perspective?
I wanted to keep the familiarity of Threads while experimenting with cleaner layouts, stronger hierarchy and a more consistent experience across the different parts of the app.
I ended up exploring quite a few screens, from onboarding and the main feed to profiles, replies, activity, privacy, insights and settings.
A big part of the process was keeping everything consistent while still making each screen feel purposeful, which is where working with reusable components in Figma really helped.
This isn't an official Threads redesign, it's simply my own design exploration of how the experience could evolve.
I'd genuinely love to know:
Which part of the redesign would you change first—the feed, profile experience, navigation, or settings?
Thanks for checking it out! ❤️
