Our minds are always thinking about something or the other. This is what we refer to as thoughts. And sometimes beautiful thoughts flash across our minds. What if there was a platform just to share these beautiful thoughts? Though there are countless social media sites out there, most of them are filled with random useless content. When I envisioned Thoughts, I wanted it to be a simple, no-nonsense social media site where people can just share their thoughts with the world, with the option of anonymity.

@chetan_natesh No I haven't thought of having any kind of subscription model as of now. I think most of the revenue is going to be generated through ads, which I will be integrating soon :)

@vsnthv Thank you for the clarification. And @anasdew, it's something similar to Blind but for all kinds of users. Also, the whole purpose of Thoughts is to share random thoughts rather than news, memes, gossips etc. :)

@impvis It's to make sure that in case of any problems, the original author can be traced back. But until then, nobody can see who the original author for any thought is. 😄

@impvis @bethanavel Yes something like that. But even in the DB, the author ID will be encrypted using a public key. So any other people who access the DB won't be able to know who the original author is. The private key will be very securely stored, which can be used to decrypt the original author ID in case of any problems. This is to make sure nobody misuses their privilege of being anonymous in the platform.
