Hi ProductHunters, I used to trust the ratings of places when I traveled to a new city, but sometimes, 5-star reviews were left only by the owner and their family 😁. Then, I started trusting the number of reviews rather than the rating itself. However, it wasn't easy to get places to visit based on this on any platform. So, I created a travel guide website to solve this problem. It features attractions, restaurants, and stays in each city, all sorted by the number of reviews. The website also features a simple guidebook for all the cities that will be helpful for those who plan their trip. Example cities: https://things.in/sf https://things.in/dubai This product already got love when I launched it on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Interne... I built this website over a weekend without writing a single line of code using the Cursor editor. This is my third product using the Cursor editor. Please try it out and let me know your thoughts. Cheers, Shyjal

🧐 Good find
Hey Shyjal, I'm wondering how you handle potential bias from very popular but potentially overrated attractions? Have you considered adding any filtering options, like price range or specific types of attractions? Congrats on the launch!

Hi @kyrylosilin , I currently list places based purely on the number of reviews, which works well in most cases. However, this approach has some limitations, like including overrated places and missing underrated or upcoming ones. The goal is to provide a simple list that works for most tourists and helps you easily discover popular spots. I recommend doing your own research after exploring the places on the Things.in list.

Congratulations on launching your product! I'm really intrigued by the concept of exploring attractions, restaurants, and stays sorted by reviews. It sounds like a game-changer for travel enthusiasts looking for trusted recommendations without sifting through endless options. I find it particularly interesting that the interface is designed to be easy-to-digest. It would be great to know if users can also filter results based on personal preferences or categories. Additionally, are there plans to implement user-generated content or tips for each listing to enhance the experience? Overall, this looks like a fantastic tool for travelers. Excited to see how it evolves!
