Hark, weary builder. 🐺 You built for months, then launched into silence, no crowd, no soul to tell. ThePackt is the guild you were missing. Post a quest, fellow founders answer the call, prove the deed, and you reward them with Honor and real reputation, never traded, never faked. No audience, no budget, no gatekeepers. One for all, all for one!!! The pack has your back. The fight for Honor is hard, but here, no one fights alone. ⚔

Hark, Product Hunt 🐺 I'm Arthur, solo founder of ThePackt.
I spent months building something, hit "launch"… and it went out into total silence. No audience, no budget, no one to tell. If you've ever shipped into a void, you know.
So I built the guild I wish I'd had. Post a quest: "back my launch", "roast my landing page", "test my beta", fellow founders answer, prove the deed, and you reward them with Honor.
⚔ Quest-based proof - help is verified, not just promised
🚫 No vote-trading - Honor can't be faked, it's locked at the database level
🐀 The Rat - a badge for those who act like one: take without giving back
🏕 Tribes - small guilds that rally behind each other's launches
✦ Always free
Live in open beta now, the board starts with demo quests, but yours will be the first real ones. Post one and let the pack help you ship.
Here all day, brutal honesty welcome. One for all, all for one, no one fights alone here. ⚔

"What's the one thing that actually helped you get your first users? Still figuring this out myself."
"How do you all deal with the feeling of shipping into the void? Building alone messes with your head."
"Genuine question, does anyone actually enjoy asking strangers for feedback or is it just me who finds it awkward?"

@himanshi_kum563 Puh so many questions at once :D let me try to answer my own.
First users: honestly the only thing that worked for me was talking to people one on one instead of shouting into a feed. Real conversations, real replies. Slow but they actually stuck around.
Shipping into the void: that feeling messed with me for the longest time. What helped was finding a few people who are at the same point as me so you're not just posting and hearing nothing. Makes a huge difference when someone actually shows up.
Asking for feedback: no you're not alone, I always found it awkward too. Felt like begging every single time. That's actually a big part of why I built ThePackt, so asking feels normal instead of embarrassing. You're just a builder asking other builders.

Awesome idea.
When registering with Google account, the process got stuck on create your account page. It just said "Opening Google...". Reloading page fixed the issue.

@jole Thank you, really appreciate it. And thanks even more for flagging that Google login issue, that's exactly the kind of thing I need to hear. Getting stuck on "Opening Google" is not okay for a first impression. Adding it to my list right now and fixing it. Did it happen on mobile or desktop for you?

Posted a small quest for feedback on my landing page copy and got two genuinely thoughtful replies within hours. Love that the reputation thing feels tied to actually helping, not just posting hot takes.

@selukb7qw Really happy to hear that. That's exactly why I built it, the reputation should actually mean something and not just be there because someone is loud.
What helped you the most with the feedback you got? And is there anything you wish was there or felt missing? I'm at the point right now where stuff like that really helps me.

The medieval framing actually makes posting feel less awkward, kind of takes the cringe out of asking for feedback. Tried it on a landing page and got two solid critiques within a day, which honestly surprised me.

@azadfndk143609 That's exactly the feeling I was chasing. Asking for help usually feels like begging, but framing it as a quest makes it feel normal, almost fun. You're just a builder asking other builders.
Really glad the landing page critiques were solid too. Curious, was there anything about the flow that felt off or that you'd want to work differently? Still shaping it and honest input like yours is gold right now.

What actually got you your first 10 users? Not the growth hack answers, the real story. Still figuring this out myself.

Tried posting a small quest and got a thoughtful response within the hour, which honestly surprised me. The reputation system feels like a nice touch for keeping things real between strangers.
