Launched this week
Most of us repeat patterns in our relationships, emotions, and decisions without truly understanding why. TheInner.app helps you see those patterns clearly through 18 initial psychology-grounded self-assessments — all completely free. Each assessment gives you a full result, and as you complete more, the platform builds an evolving profile of who you are. You also get an AI Coach that understands your results and helps you reflect deeper along with the best journaling and integration experience.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Vipin, the maker of theinner.app.
The idea for theinner.app came from a simple observation: most of us spend so much time trying to understand the world around us, but very little time understanding ourselves.
I wanted to build something that feels less like another AI chatbot and more like a thoughtful companion for self-discovery. A place where you can explore your thoughts, uncover recurring patterns, reflect on your emotions, and gain insights that are genuinely useful—not generic advice.
Over the past few months, I've been obsessing over how to make conversations feel more meaningful, personal, and reflective. Countless prompts, iterations, and late nights later, theinner.app is finally here.
Whether you're navigating a major life decision, trying to understand your habits, or simply curious about yourself, my hope is that this becomes a tool you return to whenever you need clarity.
This is only the beginning. I have a long roadmap ahead, and your feedback will directly shape what comes next.
If you try it, I'd genuinely love to hear:
What resonated with you?
What felt confusing or unnecessary?
What's one feature you wish it had?
Thank you for taking the time to check it out and for supporting independent makers. It truly means a lot. 🙏
Took the attachment style quiz first and the result actually named something I've felt for years but never put words to. The AI coach picked up on it right away without me having to explain the context, which felt surprisingly personal for a free tool.
@cihan8qim Thank you so much for giving it a try! That means a lot. ❤️
One of my biggest goals was to create something that helps people put words to thoughts and patterns they've been carrying for years. Reading that the AI coach helped you recognize something so personal without needing a lot of context is incredibly encouraging.
I'd love to know how your experience evolves over time, so please keep the feedback coming as you explore more of theinner.app.
Took the attachment style assessment and was surprised how accurately it tied together a few relationship patterns I hadn't connected before. The journal prompts based on results feel like they actually push reflection rather than just venting.
@elifsugrgeiqxf Thank you! I'm really happy to hear that. 😊
The goal wasn't just to generate a personality report, but to encourage deeper reflection and help people connect patterns they may not have noticed before. I'm especially glad the journal prompts felt useful rather than generic—that was something I spent a lot of time refining.
If there's anything you think would make the experience even more valuable, I'd genuinely love to hear your ideas.
