I grew up in the 90s and got pulled back into the OJ case years later through trial footage on YouTube. When I went looking for the actual transcripts, I found Jack Walraven's archive — he's been hosting them on walraven.org since 1995. But nobody had ever structured the data. I wanted to see what 526K utterances looked like when you could actually search, filter, and visualize them.
The pipeline started as a Python script to parse HTML into SQLite and kept growing - speaker attribution, examination structure, objection pairing. Solo project, built with Claude as a dev partner. Happy to answer questions about the data or the pipeline.
