The PWA for Twitter in Chrome works much more beautifully. For one, icon/font sizes scale better on the web. Also, text input tabbing, and other UX issues make this app feel half-baked at best.
@jdsimcoe Iβve been using the PWA for chrome and itβs so much better than this version

This is a great example of how Catalyst isn't ready. Just one example: you can't tab between text fields. I dearly hope this doesn't turn into another Adobe Air situation.

RIP my productivity π₯
Hoping they make the same improvements for Tweetdeck and we finally get an iPad app for it as well π€
Better off sticking with Tweetbot, Twitterrific or any other 3rd party macOS client as this still has a number of UI & UX issues that mean it doesn't really feel at home on macOS. https://twitter.com/wongmjane/st...
I love twitter, but unfortunately my hopes were a bit higher for this app. The experience is not as good as the new Twitter for Web. Font sizes are way too small. The animations don't feel natural on a macOS. The UI looks a bit outdated compared to the web version. The back button is not showing up.
I don't think this is Catalyst's fault, Twitter team just didn't put the same care in the details. At least not when using a maximized window.
If I resize it to 1/3 of the screen width it feels better, because then it's basically the iOS app.
