Inspired by Twitch Plays Pokemon 10 years ago I wondered how the internet would write a book if it is given free will. One word after another is getting democratically voted on until the whole book is written.
I love the idea, but there is way too much foul language in it. Parts of it are blacked out, but by selecting the text with the mouse, I am able to read them anyway.
It makes me really sad to see so many racist, antisemitic, and hateful words. You should definitely do something about that!

Oh my. So this is like a sounds amazing in theory and is awful in reality haha. Sorry to see it go downhill so quickly.
But I do wonder if you all start with filtering out words and limit how many words a person can add in a given timeframe, seems like you might get better results.

The concept of 'The Internet Writes A Book' is fascinating. Curious to see what kind of story emerges from this! π
This sounds like a great idea, but the implementation is a problem. It deliberately crosses boundaries that should be banned. It should not be possible to use the usual buzzwords for racism, homophobia, and antisemitism. I mean, you can clearly ban words. That's quite normal with Twitcht and co, they do it too. There should also be a checker to see if someone is over 18 because I wouldn't like it if children had access to a website like this.
