A shared shopping list and pantry tracker for households. Tag items as Must, Should, or Craving, sort them by your store layout, and track expiration dates with color coded countdowns and calendar reminders. Everything syncs instantly between phones.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built The Fifo for one reason: I kept losing track of what was in my fridge.
I'd buy fresh spinach, shove it in the produce drawer, and rediscover it three weeks later as a wet green tragedy. My wife would ask me to grab something on the way home, and I'd come back with the wrong things. The small kitchen failures kept piling up.
So I built the thing that fixes them for us:
🛒 A shared shopping list, where you tag items as Must, Should, or Craving. On a quick stop before work, grab the Musts. On a full weekend shop, get everything.
📦 A pantry tracker. Move what you bought in with an expiration date, and see everything sorted by what's dying next, color coded so urgency is obvious at a glance.
📅 Calendar reminders. Tap an item and drop a reminder into your calendar the day before it expires.
🔄 Real time sync. Share your household with your partner or roommate. When one person adds milk or crosses it off at the store, everyone sees it instantly.
Full disclosure: I'm not a developer. I built this by vibe coding it with AI, purely to solve a problem in my own kitchen. I wasn't thinking about scale or metrics. I just wanted to stop wasting food and stop the "did you get the dishwasher tabs?" conversations.
It's free. I'd love your feedback, and I'm genuinely curious whether this resonates with anyone beyond my own household.
Thanks for checking it out 🍊

Would love to see a barcode scanner so I can add items to the pantry list without typing each one out. Would make stocking groceries after a Costco run way faster.

The store aisle sorting is genuinely useful, finally not chasing around the supermarket for that one thing. Color coded expiration countdowns on the calendar view are a really nice touch too.

The color coded expiration countdowns are such a smart touch, makes glancing at what's about to go bad feel effortless.
