I built it for the basics: discover, rate, and reviews without the clutter. It grew into a home for your taste, with watch tools, import support, improved discovery, streaming availability, and quality-of-life features. If you want one place to track everything and decide what to watch, this is it.

Hey Product Hunt, I’m the maker of The Couch Critic. I started building this because I wanted a simpler alternative to Rotten Tomatoes/IMDb/Metacritic that centred the community score and made it easy to actually use the info (track what you’ve watched, build lists, figure out where to stream things, etc.). Then I kept building…and it turned into a full movie/TV homebase with watch tracking (episodes/seasons), list import/export, badges, and a cross-country “Where to Watch Compare” tool. I’d love feedback on: What’s the one feature you’d add to make this your default movie site? What would convince you to move your lists/tracking over? Thanks for checking it out.
