Hi Product Hunt 👋
'm Jack. The Boxing Sim started with the argument every boxing fan has had: prime Tyson or prime Ali, who wins?
So I built a simulator. 406 boxers, each rated on 12 things (power, hand speed, chin, footwork, ring IQ…), fighting round by round on three 10-point-must scorecards. Before trusting it, I backtested it: it calls 75% of 179 real fights between boxers on the roster.
Then people wanted to fight, not watch. So there are now four games on the same roster:
🥊 The Boxing Game: throw every punch yourself, in 3D, from over your own shoulder. A Title Run against eight of the greats, any two of the 400+ in a free fight, or a friend on the same keyboard. Works on phones with touch buttons.
📊 Boxing Simulator: any matchup, 4 to 12 rounds, knockdowns, cuts and scorecards. Run it 100 times for the odds.
🏆 Boxing Career: raise a kid from the amateurs to a world title, then find out which real boxer your career resembled.
💼 Boxing Manager: ten years, a stable of real boxers, 25% of every purse.
One nerdy detail: the 3D in The Boxing Game is drawn by hand on a plain 2D canvas (no WebGL, no engine), and the whole game is a single 170 KB HTML file.
All of it is free, with no download and no account.
Two questions for you: what's the first fight you'd simulate? And if the engine gets a fight "wrong", tell me. I keep a list of real results to test it against.
