I m launching The AI Map tomorrow a visual way to discover AI tools by starting with your goal instead of a product name.
For example, you can type:
Make a video
Build an app
Write content
Automate work
Create presentations
Research faster
Relevant AI tools then light up across an interactive map of 18 categories.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built The AI Map because discovering AI tools has become backwards.
Most people do not begin with a product name. They begin with a goal:
“I want to make a video.”
“I want to build an app.”
“I want to write better content.”
But finding the right tools usually means searching through lists, opening dozens of tabs, and trying to figure out where each tool fits.
The AI Map starts with your goal. Type what you want to do, and relevant AI tools light up instantly across a visual map of 18 categories.
This first version also includes workflow exploration, a cost calculator, learning paths, prompt discovery and live AI updates.
But the core idea is simple:
You should not need to know the tool before you know what is possible.
It is free to explore and requires no login.
I would genuinely love feedback on three things:
What goal did you search first?
Did the map help you discover a tool or category you had not considered?
What would make this useful enough to return to: workflows, comparisons, pricing, alerts, or something else?
Thanks for trying it.
