tether was invented to reduce the main cause of cycling accidents - cars passing cyclists too closely. It has been a year and a half in development, much of it during the COVID pandemic, developing multiple prototypes to test with users and validate the technology including developing our own custom PCB. The sensors are the clever part allowing the projection to respond to overtaking cars and logging locations where safe and unsafe overtakes happen. This allows safer routes to be planned and plotted in real time by cyclists.
