Tera.fm

The internet, summarized & read aloud.

Tera.fm turns the internet into a radio you can listen to. It fetches top stories from places like Hacker News, summarizes them with AI, pulls key viewpoints from the comments, and reads everything aloud in a natural voice. No login, no tracking, no feeds to scroll. Just press play and catch up while commuting, cooking, or working. A new way to consume the internet-> hands-free.

Hey everyone! 👋 I built Tera.fm because I love reading posts on Hacker News and Reddit but never have the time (or patience) to scroll through everything. Most of my reading happens while I'm off to bed or travelling, and I kept missing great discussions. So I wondered… what if the internet could be listened to like a radio? Tera.fm fetches the top HN stories, summarizes them using AI, pulls key viewpoints from the comment section, and reads everything aloud in a natural voice. No login, no tracking -> just press play and listen hands-free. Building this turned into a fun obsession: fine-tuning summaries, making the UI feel like a modern radio, and getting the audio experience right. I’m excited to keep expanding it to more channels like Reddit, Product Hunt, Dev.to, GitHub Trending, and more. Would love your feedback: especially on the voice quality and summaries. What channels should I add next? Thanks for checking it out! ❤️
