Excited to share Taskra with you all. The idea started from something pretty simple. Shopify merchants juggle support across way too many disconnected tools: inbox here, live chat there, no real visibility into who's actually a lead vs. just browsing, carts quietly getting abandoned with no follow-up. Most stores end up either drowning in it themselves or hiring a support assistant or PA just to keep on top of messages, tagging leads, and chasing abandoned carts, which gets expensive fast, especially for smaller stores that can't justify a full-time hire. We wanted Taskra to basically do that job for you. One place that handles the inbox, live chat, cart recovery, and lead and analytics tracking, with an AI layer doing the actual grunt work in the background: tagging leads, nudging abandoned carts, flagging refund requests that need a human, knowing when to ask a happy customer for a review. The stuff a good assistant would do, minus the salary. Building it taught us a lot. Early on we thought the AI would just be a nice to have layer on top of a support inbox. The more merchant workflows we mapped out, the more it became clear the AI needed to be woven into everything, from pricing decisions to discount logic to multi-language support, not bolted on after.
