The shift from "build a workflow" to "describe an outcome and let agents scaffold the work" is a real mental model change. Instead of mapping out every step manually, you write one prompt and get a living workspace with tasks, agents, and structure already in place. The fact that it combines docs, tasks, and AI agents in one place means your team isn't context-switching between five tools. Genuinely useful for fast-moving projects where the scope keeps evolving.

What needs improvement

Would love the ability for agents to restructure the workspace mid-project when the scope shifts — right now it feels like you need to start a new prompt if things evolve significantly. Better visibility into what each agent is actively doing at any moment would also help build trust for teams handing off real work to it.

vs Alternatives

Tried Notion AI and ClickUp for team project management, and looked at Relay.app for agent-based automation. Notion is great for docs but the AI feels bolted on. Taskade felt purpose-built for agent-first workflows — the workspace generates itself around your goal rather than asking you to configure it.

I’ve been using Taskade for quite some time, and overall it has been a very pleasant experience for both personal and work-related task management. Pros: cool interface (web), interconnected projects, AI-based project builder

What needs improvement

The mobile app UI became noticeably harder to use after the big AI expansion during 2025. The interface used to feel simple and intuitive, but now it has become much more (and unnecessary) complicated. On a phone it doesn’t feel very native anymore, and after not using it for 2-3 months I stumbled on how to create a basic project with straight-forward task list.

Overall still a good tool, but the mobile UI could really benefit from simplification.

I’ve been a Taskade affiliate and was genuinely excited to promote the product, but my experience with their affiliate payouts has been extremely disappointing. I have unpaid affiliate earnings that, according to their own policy, should have been paid out more than 60 days after conversion and on the first of the month once the minimum threshold was met.

Since November 2025, I’ve sent multiple emails to their support and partnership contacts with all the necessary details, but I never received a clear response or resolution. Instead of addressing the issue, they eventually blocked me on X, which feels unprofessional and dismissive for a company that claims to value its partners.

The product itself can be good, but if you’re considering joining Taskade’s affiliate or partnership program, be aware that payment delays and lack of communication seem to be a recurring problem, not just a one‑off incident. Until they honor existing commitments and improve their support, I can’t recommend them to other affiliates.

I absolutely love Taskade. I use it to plan every part of my life—work, personal, school, etc. Taskade's Generative AI is on another level. I showed it to a few people, and everyone reacted similarly. Their jaw-dropped. I've had moments where it needs some tweaking, but it saves so much time for planning and ideation. I simply put a phrase and boom—I have a whole project set up and ready to go. Feature Request: @johnxie Taskade's already amazing Generative AI could potentially create a project with estimations when a date is provided. "Create a marketing plan with estimations to be completed by June 10th." It would create the project with estimates of how long certain tasks might take and fit and organize it within that time range. I also look forward to the Gantt Chart, Dashboard, and Advanced Chat capabilities. There's so much going on with this amazing team that I don't even know where to start. Right when I think they're peaked, they release another mind-blowing feature. Love the team and the tool. Thank you for the amazing product!

Speed of development is very fast. Taskade implemented AI way before any competition. The people at Taskade are visionaries, always steps ahead competition.

It can be a little bit confusing sometimes, maybe my fault as I did not read the instructions.

I moved to taskade from todoist. There is a learning curve, and since taskade is much more than a todo app, there is some pain to move from a simpler tool. However, after learning it better, using their AI, setting my recurrent tasks, I now use it for reminders, tasks and inspiration. I have to say, using the AI to create projects from scratch, or expand on notes, or ask it about the project currently being worked on is a game changer.

Taskade looked like a good fit for our async planning. I used it personally for outlining goals and to-do lists. My team liked the layout, but we struggled with syncing and occasional lag. It’s promising, but the experience didn’t quite match the expectations we had.
