We're a platform specifically focussed on the niche of specialty coffee. Beyond what other great platforms(like Yelp, Tripadvisor etc) provide, shops have infrastructure to showcase what coffee on what brew they are serving at the moment. In addition, we've made it a great starting point for people who are interested in specialty coffee with features to help you learn.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Henry, the creator of talkcoffee.
What inspired me to build this is my fascination with the possibilities of coffee. If you've delved into the world of specialty coffee, you know how awesome the variability in flavors possible and how exciting and enjoyable that can be.
A lot of coffee shops tend to look the same (serving milk drinks, black coffee or a specialty drink) and to us who get excited about the nuance in the coffee bean, it can be harder to tell if a coffee shop focusses on the coffee(sourcing, roasting, brewing) or other things. I think talkcoffee can solve this by being a platform showing specific coffee details and having the infrastructure connecting consumers and businesses alike.
